Style: Face to face consultations

Session Aims: To provide efficient and effective dietary consultations

  • Understand nutrition education and its benefits
  • Obtain an assessment of dietary habits
  • Receive targeted general dietary advice
  • Gain motivation and a plan for action
  • Review their program and make appropriate enhancements
  • Build a long-term nutritional plan to meet their goals


Session Summaries:

Session 1
Eating: Personal nutrition profile analysis, goal setting, eating plan and introductory tip sheets. Gets the client started with good eating advice.

Session 2
Appetite: Dietary review and fine-tuning based on the eating plan and food and fitness log. This session focuses on ensuring the client is not overeating or going hungry and is able to manage their appetite to choose appropriate foods and portion sizes. Additional tips sheets are provided and an optional eating diary is used.

Session 3
Emotions: Review and additional fine-tuning with discussion and tip sheets that target emotional eating factors: including boredom, stress, time management, emotional eating and relationships.

Key Performance Tests (KPT) and Nutrition PT


Duration: 1 x 60 min assessment each (initially)

Aim:
To provide clients with an assessment of their eating patterns, a dietary program and to assess and measure their physical performance of aerobic, strength (upper and lower body), muscle endurance and flexibility.

Style: Face to face assessments.

Session Aims: To provide efficient and effective dietary consultations

  • Assess their physical performance and establish a foundation for their fitness goals
  • Understand nutrition education and its benefits
  • Obtain an assessment of dietary habits
  • Receive targeted general dietary advice
  • Gain motivation and a plan for action
  • Review their program and make appropriate enhancements
  • Build a long-term nutritional plan to meet their goals
